Superb craftsmanship in this benchmark Niagara Riesling. You simply won't find better than this. Incredible depth and concentration of flavour yet ephemerally light in alcohol. The best of all worlds: pure hedonism without the headache. Pair with happiness.

Riesling food pairings: roast chicken, spicy pasta dishes, shrimp tempura, grilled salmon with lemon sauce, duck liver pate.

Reviews and Ratings

Greg Hughes rated this wine as 93/100 with the following review:

Charles Baker Riesling is probably one of the most serious Rieslings in Canada. He can consistently deliver breathtaking concentration and these wines age years and years. His wines are pretty scarce, but I can guarantee they are worth searching out. I can guarantee the quality is always there.
It's a lower alcohol Riesling targeted to be more Germanic and less Alsatian inspired. It's unmistakeably Niagara, though, as it has the zippy acid and mineral balance overtop of the power it gets from Niagara clay.
Very tropical: guava, tart table grape, key lime, kiwi, and a touch of honey already.
Age it for a decade, or treat yourself to some pan seared tuna with a touch of soy.
From Vinemount Ridge in the Niagara Peninsula, Ontario VQA wine region, Charles Baker pulls off another superb wine. The 2013 Riesling is benchmark. Great balance of fruit to acidity makes this is an easy white wine to love. This is a great food wine. - Community Wine Reviews
