Delightful! Lovely floral aromas followed by a bloom of melon and lychee notes from the glass. Perfect as an aperitif, or accompaniment to salads and seafood.

See a penny pick it up! You know how the saying goes. The feeling of good fortune is the philosophy behind Lucky Penny. It is a wine designed to add an element of ‘special’ and ‘sophistication’ to any social occasion and is guaranteed to delight your friends.

Lucky Penny is a carefully balanced blend of three grape varieties that work harmoniously
together. Approachable, unpretentious and bursting with flavour, we invite you to
discover Lucky Penny – a thoroughly enjoyable wine experience. Share the luck!

Lucky Penny is made with grapes from premium vineyards in South Eastern Australia. The fruit is harvested in the cool of night to retain maximum freshness and flavour. Free run juice is then cold fermented using specially selected aromatic yeast. Once completed, the wine is cold stabilised and cold filtered to preserve rich aromas and freshness.

The winter of 2009 was colder than usual, but a warm spring with steady rains provided good conditions for budburst. A heat wave in summer spurred healthy canopy growth and fruit development. Vintage was earlier than in previous years, but fruit quality was excellent. The grapes were regularly quality tested in the lead up to harvest and delivered to the winery in ideal condition.

This young and unique white blend displays lifted notes of summer fruits such as pear,
melon and passionfruit with a hint of toast and honey.

The Pinot Grigio brings soft fruit flavours of pear and melon that complement the citrus
and toasted honey notes from the Chardonnay. Viognier adds a touch of apricot. The
flavours are bright and interesting and the palate is full and rich with a clean ripe finish.
