Burgáns Martín Códax Albariño 2011 Wine Review
Natalie's Score: 90/100Clean, crisp and fresh with bright lime-lemon aromas and mouth-watering white grapefruit flavours. Great aperitif or food companion. This vibrant white wine hails from the northern region of Spain where the climate maintains the crispness in style. Perfect for a wide range of dishes from fresh seafood to salads.

I was informed once at my local Vintages that the LCBO doesn't receive a lot of Albarino so when it does come in I should purchase half case or more. I bought 4 of these Codax Albarino when it was released because of the consistency of each vintage. Straw yellow colour. Light-bodied. Green apple, citrus, honeydew melon, white grapefruit, stoney. Fantastic sipper. Good value. Worth a case! Grilled scallops or shrimp. Salads.
