Louise Wilson ISG Sommelier rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Examples such as this white Rioja are a great reason why Spanish whites are currently on trend. Fresh and youthful, this mid-weight, unoaked, dry white offers flavours of subtle peach and citrus fruits. Try as an alternative to unoaked Chardonnay or Pinot Grigio. A sure fire crowd pleaser. Easy drinking with or without food. Enjoy through 2014. Tasted Feb 2014.
For many, Rioja means red wine - not surprising considering the region's amazing reds - but Rioja's whites are generating some great excitement and buzz at the moment. This example, made from Viura (also known as Macabeo), is a medium-bodied, crisp and refreshing wine with Spanish flair. Delicate aromas of fresh-cut hay, pear, banana, almond and citrus zest. There's good fruit intensity on the palate riding on a smooth, supple texture. The finish is focused and crisp. Source: Vintages Wine Ratings and Reviews, Dec. 2013
