Gabriel Israel rated this wine as 95/100 with the following review:

Had this wine last night at Terra restaurant in Richmond Hill, Ontario (thank you Michael, who keeps surprises me every time). One of the most unusual, exciting and rewarding Italian wines I have had in the past few months.
It's an interesting blend of 33% Montepulciano, 25% Sangiovese, 30% Primitivo, 7% Negroamaro, 5% Malvasia Nera.
My first reaction was 'wow! this is different' - it's similar to a very high-end Zin (probably because of the Primitivo) but it has much more to offer - full body, extremely sophisticated and rich yet very silky smooth and elegant. The flavors of strawberies are so beautifully integrated, as if you sample the best homemade crafted strawberries jam ever.flavors that go on for ever and yet amazingly balanced.
