As you pour this wine into your glass you will notice how clear and vibrant it looks...I can ponder sitting in the actual vineyard drinking this wine.... And I love when a wine evokes such wondrous moments of day dreaming!
There are not many Pinos grown in Spain, and with such a delight in drinking this wine it makes you wonder why not! The nights in the region this wine is grown in, are rather cooler than down at sea level, and this allows for delicate ripening of these tender grapes.
On the nose delivers a fresh abundance of red berries with a mixture of caramel and toast at the end.
On the palate incredible fruit as though freshly picked cherries and red currants and then almost a crab apple jelly introduction...intriguing and delicious. Leather slowly starts to unfold with a mild pepper / toast hold. The tennis are well balanced and a perfectly long hold!
