100% barrel aged (20% new) using only 1% of all fruit taken in.
This pinot noir is all Central Otago fruit. Aromas of mulled berries with cinnamon, dark chocolate covered raisins, and roasted beets are complemented with wet stone minerality and floral notes of rose petal. The palate reflects the nose with cinnamon hearts and old leather and an alluring hint of whisky barrel rounding out the complexity.
This Pinot is medium bodied with slightly grippy tannins that could age a further 3-5 years.
