The nose displays blackberry, raspberry, currant, mint, white pepper, along with hints of leather and cocoa. The taste reflects the fruit found in the aromas, as well as the mint and pepper. The firm tannins are not overbearing, giving nice structure, and the acidity helps balance out the wine. I suggest this with roasted/grilled meat.
