D'arenberg The Hermit Crab Viognier Marsanne 2011
Mclaren Vale, South Australia, Australia
Winemaker Chester Osborn has a terrific reputation for his shiraz and cabernet wines, but this white blend of Viognier with 32% Marsanne is terrific! Not a lot of oak, but it combines with the fruit vibrancy to create an intriguingly rich and deliecious wine. Aromas of apricot and white flowers with a dash of spice on the finish. Alcohol: 13.1%  Sweetness: Dry  750 ml  Drink: 2013‐2016  Spectacular Spicy Wine  Top Rated White Wine  Price: $18.95 Score: 91/100
