Lailey Winery is located in the heart of Niagara's oldest wine producing region, Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario. Its location is a 20 minute scenic drive from the spectacular Niagara falls along the Niagara River and a short 5 minute drive to historic Old Town where restaurants and boutique shops are located. Lailey Winery is proudly known to have one of the oldest plantings in the region on our 23 acre property. Our first plantings of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay date back to 1973. However, it was not until the year 2000 when we started making wine. With a mix of mature grapes and our experienced winemaker, we began crafting award winning wines. As innovation and creativity are our constant drives at the winery, we also became the forefront in Canada for experimenting with Canadian oak and have become recognized in the industry for it. Some key pieces in the portfolio include our Old Vines Pinot Noir, Canadian Oak Chardonnay and famous Canadian Icewine. All our wines are VQA certified.



Lailey Winery firmly believes in producing quality wines. To achieve this, we set high measures and standards in ou production. This is why we have invested an extensive amount of capital in acquiring industry leading equipment to help with the process of winemaking. To further ensure our quality of wines, all of our grape wines are VQA certified. VQA Ontario (Vintners Quality Alliance) is a regulatory agency responsible for maintaining the integrity of local wine appellations and enforcing winemaking standards. These wines are also tasted by a qualified panel for quality characteristics prior to being able to use the VQA designation.
