Natalie's Score: 88/100

A full-bodied, rich red Argentine wine with aromas and flavours black plum, pepper and dark spices on the finish. This muscular wine will elbow its way in beside a rare steak or prime rib. It's strong, but not overpowering like the ideal dinner companion conversation. Malbec is Argentina's flagship red wine grape, and this producer excels at the style of wine. Pair with grilled meats.

Reviews and Ratings

Jane Staples - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Argentina's best-known varietal is Malbec and this rich, dark, full-bodied red is a great example. A deep purple red which will stain your mouth, so don't order it on a first date! Lovely blackcurrant and plum on the nose, then a delicious palate with dark red fruit, lots of spice and hints of mocha. Juicy mouthfeel and smooth finish.
Great with grilled meats; this is one to remember for the barbeque season.
A robust Argentine Malbec from one of the country's largest producers (think Fusion). For the 2012 vintage the winery produced 225,000 litres of wine sourcing Malbec grapes from the Uco Valley (La Consulta), Vista Flores and Tupungato. - Community Wine Reviews
