Two Hands Angels' Share Shiraz from McLaren Vale displays ripe dark cherry, mulberry, lavender and a hint of toasted spice. It's dry and medium to full-bodied with smooth, fine-grained tannins and bright acidity that keeps the concentrated fruit fresh through the finish. Serve it slightly below room temperature alongside gourmet beef burgers topped with caramelized onions where the wine's bold fruit and structure complement the savory char, or pair it with grilled lamb sausages where the wine's herbal notes and lively acidity balance the meat's richness. Co-founder and viticulturist Michael Twelftree oversees winemaking alongside chief winemaker Matt Wenk, sourcing this vegan-friendly 100% Shiraz from McLaren Vale's diverse vineyard sites before aging it for 12 months in a combination of French and American oak barrels. Founded in 1999 when Twelftree and business partner Richard Mintz decided to showcase the diversity of Australian Shiraz by highlighting regional characteristics, Two Hands earned the extraordinary distinction of being named to Wine Spectator's Top 100 list for nine consecutive years through 2011, an achievement unmatched by any other winery in the world, and Robert Parker proclaimed Two Hands "the finest negociant operation south of the equator." Enjoy this expressive Shiraz through 2033.

Shiraz food pairings: gourmet burgers, mutton with mint and coriander, black bean soup, cheese pizza.
