The Juice Wine Company Cabernet Franc Rosé from Ontario’s Twenty Mile Bench is a dry, medium-bodied rosé that's low on alcohol and high on personality. It's made from 100% Cabernet Franc grapes. You’ll taste ripe wild strawberries, a hint of fresh basil, and a squeeze of blood orange. There’s a stony finish that’s like a flirtatious wink from a summer breeze—just enough to keep you coming back. Serve it well chilled, ideally with a grilled shrimp salad, prosciutto-wrapped melon, or a margarita pizza fresh from the oven. Nothing too fussy—this rosé is here for a good time, not a 12-course tasting menu. The Juice Wine Company, which launched its first label in 2024 and is already getting buzz for its vibrant, small-batch wines. Full disclosure, it's owned by my good friend and fellow wine communicator Angela Aiello. Congrats Ange, you've done an amazing job! This bottle is basically summer in a glass—if summer wore vintage Ray-Bans and played vinyl on the patio.

Cabernet Franc Rosé food pairings: charcuterie, fresh salads, hard cheeses.

Reviews and Ratings

Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

A beautiful, light and vibrant rosé, made from 100% Cabernet Franc. Aromas of pink grapefruit, strawberry, and cherry, with a hint of cotton candy. Light to medium bodied, with medium + acidity on the palate, along with tart and ripe red berry flavours, and a hint of citrus. Enjoy with grilled shrimp skewers.
