Eye - Very pale with cherry rim

Nose - Fresh strawberry and cherry notes, slightly candied but appealing

Palate - Lovely balance, all middle palate, find texture, fairly long, pomegranate, strawberry, very well made. Excellent balance, good supporting acidity, intensity medium minus.

Jon Steeves - Sommelier rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Ruby red, 13.5% ABV. Cherry, anise, blackberry and spice. A fine, well-balanced Marlborough Pinot Noir with elegant tannins, and vibrant acidity. Great pairing with roast turkey, braised rack of lamb, or plank salmon. This winery was awarded winestate New Zealand winery of the year 2010, 2012 and 2014. @jonsteeves rated 90/100 - tasted May 2016
Matt Steeves - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Award winning Saint Clair Family Estate winery produces exceptional wines of the highest quality at fantastic prices. Their Marlborough Pinot Noir is chalked full of black currant, baking spice, smoke, and dried herbs. A stellar pairing with braised lamb shank with rosemary. Tasted May 2016. 90+ points.
