Reviews and Ratings

Trent Mayers rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Any sparkling wine made outside of the Champagne region in France must be called Crémant like this one from Alsace. This is made in the Traditional Method, as is Champagne; so, it produces a sparkler with fine streams of bubbles and a rich, toasty creaminess. The grape used is Pinot Blanc, which enlivens this dry wine with notes of yellow and green apple, lemon, grapefruit peel, and florals. It would be an excellent pour before dinner by itself or with appetizers.
3½+ stars
Pierre Sparr's Crémant d'Alsace is a beautiful and bright crémant made in the traditional method and a great value bubble at $20. Fresh and fragrant with white florals, citrus blossom, crunchy green apple on a lemon-rich mousse, toasty and lingering on the palate, it is delicious now. Produced from the Pinot Blanc grape, chill and enjoy it with brunch dishes or anytime. - Community Wine Reviews
