Reviews and Ratings

Trevor Sabourin - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Lovely nose of sweet, ripe raspberry, dark cherry, blackberry, sage, white pepper, olive, licorice, violet, and just the right amount of earthy, smoky, and meaty character. The sweet, savoury, and earthy elements bring great tension and balance on the palate, along with notes of cocoa and a bit of menthol. Medium-full bodied, round and supple, but with substantial tannins that still have some grip to them. The finish is quite long. This wine is drinking well now but could certainly last (and develop further) another 5-10 years. Tasted January 2016.
Matt Steeves - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Dark berry and stewed fruits on the nose. The palate is deep and rich with great dark fruit intensity. A great wine for BBQ burgers. Enjoy 2015-2020. 89 points. Tasted May 2015. Matt Steeves - www.quercusvino.ca
This robust French red wine offers aromas of scrub brush (garrigue) that features prominently in the southern French landscape. The vines are planted at between 260 and 400 metres above sea level. This is a blend of Syrah and Grenache grapes. Pair with a beef stew. - Community Wine Reviews
