A lively, fruit-forward white that brims with aromas of crisp green apple, ripe pear, and lemon zest, accented by a whisper of honeysuckle. It’s light to medium-bodied, dry, and refreshingly vibrant on the palate, with bright acidity and 12.5% alcohol giving it an invigorating, clean finish. Serve it well-chilled—as its name suggests—to bring out its pure fruit character and zesty freshness. Fascinating fact: The Ramblers collection from Palatine Hills celebrates easygoing wines made for good times, and The Chiller is crafted without oak to highlight the natural charm of Niagara Chardonnay. Best enjoyed young within 1–2 years while its fresh fruit notes are at their peak. You can order this wine directly from the winery at www.palatinewinery.com.

Ramblers The Chiller Unoaked Chardonnay food pairings: grilled lemon-herb chicken, where the wine’s crisp acidity and citrus notes lift the flavours beautifully. Or enjoy it with a classic Caesar salad, where its freshness balances the creamy dressing and salty Parmesan.

Reviews and Ratings

Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

This is a great sipping wine, also nice to accompany foods like grilled chicken or white fish. Aromas of lemon and yellow apple, with a touch of white florals. Light to medium bodied on the palate, the fruit flavours are crisp and clean. This wine is dry but has a touch of honey on both the nose and the palate.
