Reviews and Ratings

Deborah Podurgiel WSET IV Candidate - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

From Okanagan Crush Pad's High Elevation Secrest Mountain Vineyard, Haywire 2020 Gamay Rosé is terrific. Vibrant, silky and flavoursome, this Summerland rosé is fresh on the nose with red berry, strawberry, cherry and soft citrus aromas. On the palate, it is a mouthful of ripe strawberry, cherry, fresh-picked raspberry, soft orange zest, subtle fine herbs with a kiss of pepper spice that lingers on.

Grapes are organically farmed and were whole bunch pressed, then fermented to dry with natural yeasts in a mix of concrete and stainless-steel tanks (80%/20%). A perfect rosé for Thanksgiving, food versatile enough to pair with BBQ’d salmon steaks to a rolled stuffed turkey breast roast. Tasted September 2022.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
