Reviews and Ratings

Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

This is a lighter alcohol Pinot Noir, coming in at 8% abv. There are notes of cherry, oak, and warm spices on the nose. Light bodied on the palate, with very light tannins, and just a hint of sweetness, but fairly dry on the palate. Berry notes are bright on the palate. Enjoy with BBQ ribs.
Craig Haynes - WSET3 FWS SWS IWS rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

The Meiomi Bright is this California wine brand’s foray into the low alcohol - lower calorie arena. How low? According to the label, the alcohol by volume is 8% and the calorie count is 130 per 188 ml serving (tha ¾ of a cup more or less).

Labelled a wine of California, this Pinot Noir evokes - to my senses – a style that is unapologetically bushels of ripe dark fruit teamed up with leather, earthiness, and savoury oak spice. The mouth feel is lush, rich, velvety, and medium weight. Find yourself some comfort BBQ that offers you those feels, because it will match well this one. Enjoy.
