Reviews and Ratings

Daniel O'Keefe rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Soft and subtle lemon and green apple followed by a touch of lees, a hint of smoke, and a suggestion of minerality. Extra dry, ultra crisp. Palate reflects the nose with beautiful subtleties, nuances, and complexities through an extended finish. Fresh and vibrant, this lovely Chardonnay calls for oysters, clams, or poached haddock or halibut.
Carolyn Hetke rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Restrained elegance here typical of Pouilly-Fuissé. Light citrus on the nose and palate. Slightest hint of oak mostly lends texture to the otherwise silky palate. Serve with salad, scallops and calamari. Tasted May 2019. www.thewineloverskitchen.com
Marie-Pierre Manciat became sixth generation winemaker in the family in 2002, but the family estate was founded in 1871. Les Petites Bruyeres 2017 is a Pouilly-Fuissé is a smoky, zesty, dry and crisp Chardonnay with white florals, citrus zest and flinty mineral flavours finishing long on the palate. Very nice. Enjoy chilled with grilled halibut steaks.- Community Wine Reviews
