Bright black cherry, mint, dried herbs and cedar forest aromas. Savoury, juicy and mouth-watering: full-bodied liquid lovely! There's some clove and spices on a long, satisfying finish. Dry and refreshing, and very versatile with a range of meat dishes. This is a terrific date night wine.

Cabernet Shiraz food pairings: rare roast beef, hodge-podge, black bean soup, grilled radicchio.

Reviews and Ratings

Jane Staples - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

A beautiful dark ruby red aromatic blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Shiraz from the Coonawarra region in South Australia. Perfumey ripe red berry fruit, cedar, vanilla and sweet baking spice on the nose. The Shiraz aspect kicks things up a notch on the spicy, full-bodied palate, also adding earthy, inky notes and a spicy dark berry finish.
Definitely a mouth-watering "more please" red. Great choice with your favourite beef dishes or BBQ ribs.
