Muscat de Swenson is a cold-hardy hybrid developed specifically for northern climates, and Magnetic Hill Winery in New Brunswick is one of Atlantic Canada's pioneering estates producing wines from varieties selected specifically for the challenging maritime conditions. The Osceola opens with Muscat's characteristic orange blossom and fresh grape character alongside fresh pear and a cool mineral note, then delivers a medium-bodied, textured palate with pleasant sweetness balanced by refreshing acidity. Serve it well chilled now.

Food pairings: light appetizers, mild cheese, fresh fruit.

Reviews and Ratings

Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

This fun summer wine is made with the hardy hyrid grape Muscat de Swenson. These wines are grown overlooking the ocean and the result is a beautiful light and refreshing wine with notes of citrus, pear, and hints of orange, along with a telltale saline minerality. Enjoy with fresh shellfish.

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
