Reviews and Ratings

Andrea Shapiro rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

This Rubesco is a Sangiovese/Colorino blend with elements of cooked fruit, cassis, earthy soft cedar, toasted vanilla beans and red pepper jam. Flavours have tomato touches with some red plums, smoked meat and soft stemmy notes! Dry and distinct with mediums plus acidity, silky noticeable tannins and a medium body with a matching, memorable finish. Pair with a flat crust pizza adorned with sun-dried tomato toppings. 89 points - tasted May 2018
Lungarotti Rubesco 2014 is a great value, medium-plus bodied blend of Sangiovese, Rubesco and Colorino Torgiano from the Umbria wine region. Pair with meaty stews.. - Community Wine Reviews

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
