Reviews and Ratings

Deborah Podurgiel WSET IV Candidate - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 93/100 with the following review:

Now, this is another pretty little number from Lunessence Winery. Their Small Lot Vin Gris has always been unique and what started off as a wine club exclusive several years ago has become a winery fave! Produced entirely from Gamay Noir, the grapes for this fourth release (2025) are sourced from a single Summerland Lakefront vineyard. A limited blush gris you truly do not want to miss.

A pretty blush in the glass, the wine has medium-intensity aromas of peaches, nectarine, jasmine, mineral, meaty and soft orange zest notes fleshy and brilliant on the palate. Chill and enjoy it with salmon or mushroom burgers. Enjoy now through 2028. Tasted June 2026.

From the winery: Grapes were whole cluster pressed with no skin contact, then rested for five months in stainless-steel tank and neutral oak barrels.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
