Le Gravillas Séguret Côtes du Rhône-Villages A.O.C. from the southern Rhône is a dry, medium to full-bodied Grenache and Syrah blend that opens with a classically evocative nose of crushed raspberry, dark plum, dried lavender, wild rosemary, and a twist of black olive and warm spice. On the palate it is smooth and generous, with supple tannins, lively acidity, and a concentrated core of red and dark fruit woven through with garrigue and a satisfying peppery finish that lingers with real persistence. Serve it at room temperature and enjoy from 2026 through 2034, as this wine has the structure to reward patience. The wines are crafted by the winemaking team at Cave Le Gravillas, a cooperative cellar established in 1935 in Sablet at the foot of the Dentelles de Montmirail, which brings together 45 passionate growers tending vines across six prized southern Rhône appellations. Séguret itself has been a dedicated winemaking village since the 10th century, with its terroir of sandy soils, red clay, and galets producing wines of notable intensity and elegance that rival their more celebrated Gigondas neighbours. Pair it with grilled lamb chops rubbed with herbes de Provence and a garlic-lemon crust, where the wine's lavender and garrigue notes will amplify every herb-scented bite, or pour it alongside a hearty tourtière fresh from the oven, where the wine's dark fruit and spice perfectly complement the richness of the pastry and filling.

Food pairings: gourmet burgers, grilled lamb chops, roast chicken, tourtière.
