Reviews and Ratings

Jane Staples - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Made from hand-picked grapes, this Tempranillo shows a red cherry nose with vanilla and leather notes. The palate shows lots of ripe cherry, herbal notes, cloves, vanilla, leather and slight tobacco. Dry and harmonious with a long dark cherry finish.
Matt Steeves - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Yummy! Loads of spice and fruit. Very nice wine. Enjoy with rich dishes. 90 points. Tasted March 2015. Matt Steeves - www.quercusvino.ca
The Chivite family has been related to the wine business since 1647. The 2009 vintage of this estate bottled Spanish red wine is made from Tempranillo grapes that were hand-picked from singular plots of Finca Granja de Legardeta. The Legardeta winery estate benefits from an Atlantic climate. this wine was aged for 14 months in French oak barrels. Decant 2 hours. - Community Wine Reviews
