Beautifully balanced and savoury New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc: not grassy. Aromas of lime zest, lemongrass and chives. Terrific mouth-watering acidity for seafood. Medium-bodied. HãHã is the Maori word for savoury and luscious.

Sauvignon Blanc food pairings: chicken and sage skewers, fresh tomato and basil salad, pan-fried freshwater fish.

Reviews and Ratings

Melanie Lloyd - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Lovely ripe stone fruit aromas as well as clementine, lemon, and honey. On the palate, there are juicy peach and lemon flavours. It has crisp acidity, a balanced harmony, and I would recommend this one. It would pair well with fried appetizers.

Tasted January 2018
Stephen Andrews reviewed this wine as follows:

Taste Feb. 25th, 2018. Colour, pale straw. Legs medium minus. Aromas and flavours of, melon, lime zest, passion fruit, gooseberry. Taste dry, minus, herbaceous fruity and crisp. Light bodied, mouthwatering plus. Finishes tropical fruit and mouthwatering. I like this wine from Hawkes Bay. Easy to drink crisp and refreshing. Drink it with chicken, fish or a simple salad. Try it with a piece of white choclate. Good value wine.
Hãhã 2016 is a zesty New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc from the Marlborough wine region and is produced by Fern Ridge Wine. Haha is the native Maori word which means savoury and luscious. The wine is bright, fragrant with white stonefruit, lime and fresh herbs. On the palate the wine is dry, zesty with ripe nectarines, peaches and passionfruit flavours. Drink now as an aperitif to enjoy all of its youth and freshness or pair with grilled seafood. - Community Wine Reviews
