Natalie's Score: 90/100

An inviting weave of iris-petal florals and bramble-berry compote opens the glass, with a thread of herb-kissed plum and a whisper of smoked cherry on the finish. The mid-weight palate glides over a fine-grain tannin frame that gently holds each layer of bright barberry and plum-syrup flavor. A terrific value, it shines equally at a casual weeknight gathering or a more formal dinner party. Pair with braised lamb shanks in red-wine reduction with rosemary-roasted

Tautavel food pairings: rare steak, rustic stew, game pot pie, roast chicken.

Reviews and Ratings

Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

A lovely blend of Grenache, Syrah and Carignan. Aromas of red cherry, blackberry, and violets, along with hints of smoke and stony mineral notes. Full bodied on the palate with medium, drying tannins, and rich dark berry flavours. Pair with rustic beef or mushroom dishes.
