Perfect for drinking now! Mature aromas and flavours of leather, smoke and dried herbs andfruit. The fruit is very subtle, and the reason I'm suggesting that you try it now while it's in gorgeous balance with the rest of the wine's elements and structure. Complex with a long finish.

Reviews and Ratings

Malcolm Lamont - WSET Adv, CSW rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

Ruby red with even a hint of youthful purple, and wow! great bouquet. Think dark fruit cedar notes, a bit of tobaco and lots of red fruit with a swirl. This wine is showing great complexity. Smooth and zesty on the palate, with lots of youthful red fruit standing out and harmonious oak integration.

At the Pyrenees mountains close to the French border, I can see what the fuss is about for this emerging region.

This full-bodied red wine from Spain would be terrific with filet mignon served rare. Source: Winery
