Lovely balance with classic cassis and blackberry aromas in this California Cabernet. Plush, mouth-watering and celebratory. Great dinner party wine as it's subtle not in your face. While this wine is mostly Cabernet Sauvignon, there's also a dash of Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot and Malbec in the blend. Great balance and finish.

Cabernet Sauvignon food pairings: hearty meat dishes, hard cheese.

Reviews and Ratings

Andrew Bernardo rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

An exceptional offering from a truly variable region. Dry Creek Vineyard has made some tremendous steps forward despite its youth as a "Cabernet" producer. This wine offers aromas and flavours of fresh cut tobacco, bay leaf, black raspberry, black currant, pencil shavings, iron, and a hint of florality. Drink now through 2020. 91 Points. Dry Creek Valley is a relatively undiscovered region in Sonoma with tremendously various soils that translates into the flavours of the wines. - Winery
