From the Burgundy wine region, Domaine des Malandes Premier Cru 2023 Chablis is the perfect size (375 ml) to enjoy with a half-dozen raw oysters on the half shell or a mussel hot pot for one. From the Vau de Vey climat, where Chardonnay vines were planted in the 1980s on its steep slopes, this refined and zesty left-bank premier cru is rich with ripe pear, tropical fruit notes, zesty and lingering with a chalky mineral finish. The Chardonnay grapes for this vintage were sourced from a total of 3.5ha of organically farmed vines and the wine was fermented in a combination of stainless-steel and cask (70%/30%). Enjoy from 2027 through 2040.
