Owner/winemaker Paul Bosc Sr. dedicates this delightful rosé to his wife and winery matriarch, Madame Andrée Bosc. The blend is adjusted each vintage to incorporate the best fruit from that year. (In 2006, it was 45% Pinot Noir, 28% Cabernet Sauvignon, 21% Cabernet Franc and 6% Merlot.) Enjoy this aromatic, strawberry-scented wine. My note: An elegant, well-made rose.

Château Des Charmes Cuvée D’Andrée Rosé food pairings: cheese, raw oysters, roast chicken with rosemary.

Reviews and Ratings

Dan Trcka Wine Blogger rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

The 2012 Chateau Des Charmes Cuvée D'andrée Rosé, composed entirely of Pinot Noir, has appealing aromas of raspberry, citrus and mineral notes on the nose and strawberry and raspberry on the palate. It is a sweeter (dry in LCBO terms), medium bodied, fruity wine, with balanced acidity and a medium, clean finish. This is a food friendly wine or early afternoon refresher; drink while young now to 2015. My impression: NICE, 88 pts. Tasted May/13.
