Reviews and Ratings

Jane Staples - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

A warm nose of red berries, mint & vanilla. The palate shows ripe raspberries, vanilla & sweet spices, mint and slight vegetal notes of green pepper. Well-balanced with a long fresh finish.
This Californian red wine is a blend of 85% Cabernet Sauvignon, 13% Cabernet Franc and 2% Merlot grapes. The 2011 is the tenth vintage for this wine and it's aged for 19 months in French oak barrels. The grapes for this wine are grown in a single vineyard on the slopes of Howell Mountain which produces wines with firm tannins. Coffee and espresso on the finish. - Community Wine Reviews
