Reviews and Ratings

Greg Hughes rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

This is a bargain Pinot Noir that reflects the 'new world' taste of Australian Pinot, but was made with care and sensitivity to 'old world' Pinot idiosyncrasies. To put it simply, it is gushing and mouthwatering, but also well made and complex for its category (under $20).
The coloir is a deep garnet/burgundy, with an even darker core.
The aromas have a lot of sarsaparilla, cherry, cocoa, and beet juice.
The palate is more savoury than the nose: more chocolate, vanilla, clove, cardamom, cherry jam, and caramelized beets. Medium tannin, but high alcohol.
The wine's grapes were kept to a small yield of slowly maturing fruit. It underwent fermentation with wild yeast, and saw used French oak (for subtlety).
Westphalian cured ham, or prosciutto with this would make a good pairing. Roast turkey, with sunchokes and potatoes went well too.
Malcolm Lamont - WSET Adv, CSW rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Where did this Pinot come from!?

Pale colour, with earthy, ethereal, mocha, and strawberry notes.
An excellent earthy finish for this wine from a region we don't see very much from, but I hope to see more!

A steal at $15.

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
