Reviews and Ratings

Trent Mayers rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

The fruit for this wine is from the Cafayate Valley in Salta province in Argentina, recognized as the best place to grow this indigenous Argentine grape. It’s fresh, dry, medium bodied, and brimming with peach, pear, apple, and wet stones with a lemony, lingering finish. Try it as an aperitif or with grilled shrimp. Drink now to 2022. 4 stars out of 5.
Linda Mertes WSET 2 rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

A good value Torrontes from Argentina, "Abras" are trails created by earthquakes or rivers. This medium-bodied wine leads with subdued white floral aromas and has a spicy, dry palate with a hint of petrol. The finish is floral and crisp. Pair with poultry or Asian-based appetizers.
From the Cafayate Valley Abras 2017 Torrontés was produced for a dry year. Fermented in stainless steel tank, this vintage is lightly floral and spicy on the nose, dry, showing more spicy notes with tropical fruit and light floral flavours, Fresh and spicy. Perfect for spicier dishes like Korean-style ribs and spicy tuna roll. - Community Wine Reviews

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
