Vintages Wine Panel: Rosso di Montalcinos are designed to be enjoyed in their relative youth, and this one is a prime example. Filled with aromas of blackberry, cherry and a hint of smoke, this wine is dry, quite fruit-forward and balanced. A very well-made wine for current enjoyment, or put it away for 2-4 years. My note: I really like the mouth-watering acidity here: makes you want to eat anything! Juicy and generous with dark berries and smoke. Full-bodied and smooth. It’s a great litmus wine on a first date: what do you have in common aside from the wine?

Sangiovese food pairings: lamb chops, osso buco.

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
