Another impressive performance from Township 7. This dry traditional method sparkler delivered stunning buttery bread dough, white pear, lime zest and chalk scents along with enticing flavours reminiscent of white fleshed orchard fruit, lime and minerality. Persistent bubble streams and an energetic mouthfeel enhanced the experience. Crafted from 100% chardonnay in British Columbia’s Okanagan Valley appellation. Enjoy.

Deborah Podurgiel rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

So fresh, lively and bright! A great traditional-method sparkling Blanc de Blanc from Township 7 Vineyards. Produced from 100% Chardonnay and fermented in bottle, as the North star is the brightest star in the Ursa Minor constellation, Polaris 2017 shines bright from the winery’s Seven Stars Collection.

Dry with a creamy and lively mousse of fresh melon, binned apple, apricot jam, custard bisquite, toasty on the palate with a long and bright citrus finish.

Great chilled on its own. We paired it with stargazing, but it would also be a perfect match to sautéed garlic prawns. Tasted April 2020.
