Sharon Lécuyer rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Very aromatic aromas of chocolate, vanilla and tobacco. Off-dry and flavours of cocoa, vanilla and cigar.

This isn't a cab sauv you'd pair with steak. Pair with dessert! I enjoyed with 2-bite brownies and raspberries! Delish! If you love Apothic, you'll love this one! Decent price at $17.

Jon Steeves rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Accessibly priced, fruit-forward, red and black berry, mocha, sweet pipe tobacco. An approachable, red blend, declared Cabernet Sauvignon, Napa Valley fruit. Tasted 2016 vintage in November 2018. 88 points
Wineboy rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Very powerful CS from California with very powerful oak. Touch of sweetness which balanced any hint of bitterness in this wine. If you like big fruity oaky wines this is it - at hedonistic levels. Remember the price when you enjoy this one.
Craig Kuziemsky rated this wine as 86/100 with the following review:

Some black fruit with lots of vanilla and some baking spice notes. Not a lot of focused fruit notes but rather a mix of sweet flavors. Pair with chocolate ice cream. Tasted November 2018.
Andrew Bernardo rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

This is what you'd expect from a wine named "Submission". It's sweetly fruited, loads of vanilla, hedonistic. Pairs well with a Bachelorette. 88 Points.

Natalie's Review

Submission Cabernet Sauvignon 2016, California, United States: Very sweet chocolate, mocha and coffee o the nose and palate of this generously oak aged wine. Supple and smooth. Finishes very sweet as well, almost a dessert wine here with milk chocolate and whipped vanilla cream. Pair with chocolate dipped biscotti. Drink: 2018-2025. 628230 14.50% D 750 mL  $19.95 Score: 87/100. November 16, 2019 Best Value Red Wine. Best Beef Wine  Full Review
