Stephen Andrews reviewed this wine as follows:

Tasted July 14th 2018. Colour medium gold. Legs light. Aromas and flavours of yellow apple, Asian pear, white peach, crushed gravel. Taste dry, tree fruit, medium minus body, mouthwatering, low alcohol, fresh and crisp and has a medium finish. We matched this wine with pan seared (salt and pepper) Halibut finished in 400F oven for 3minutes. Topped with butter, cream, Cremi mishroom sauce. Delicious. The match was very nice
Jane Staples rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Subtle white tree fruit aromatics with apple, pear, lanolin and lime on the palate of this crisp Chablis. Pair with steamed clams, a match made in heaven.

Natalie's Review

William Fèvre Champs Royaux Chablis 2016, Burgundy A.C., France: From William Fevre Champs Royaux (2016) is a bone-dry, crisp and unoaked Chablis. Serve chilled and pair with fresh shellfish. Lovely flint, citrus and lime notes on this steely Chablis. Drink now and for the next three years. Lime zest on the nose with lots of refreshment. Crisp, dry unoaked Chardonnay from northern Burgundy. Notes of green apple brightness and acidity. Pair with shellfish. Serve chilled. Drink: 2018-2022. 461640 12.50% XD 750 mL  $26.95 Score: 88/100. Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a feisty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
