Delicious dark berry aromas and a yummy palate that explodes with fruit, sweet spice and vanilla. Velvety smooth tannins and balanced acidity. An excellent choice for roast pork. Great value in this multi award-winning Australian Merlot.

Natalie's Review

Wakefield Merlot 2016, Clare Valley, South Australia, Australia: Loads of flavour that almost jumps from the glass in the robust Merlot. Juicy and fleshy with purple and black plum aromas on this vibrant Australian red wine, with lots of mouth-watering acidity for food. Although the Merlot grape is grown in many regions around the world, the signature here in the glass is definitely Australian. Smooth and full-bodied. Terrific price! Attractive smoke and dark fruit on the finish. Perfect for pizza! Drink: 2017-2021. 683201 14% XD 750 mL  $19.95 Score: 90/100. November 25, 2017 Best Value Red Wine. Best Beef Wine  Full Review

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
