Carolyn Hetke rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Don't let the Vin de France AOP fool you. The grapes for this 100% Mourvedre are sourced from 17 different plots with 100 year old vines. Because some plots are in Chateauneuf-du-Pape it can't be called a Côtes de Rhône. This Xavier endeavour has been made with all the attention to detail that Xavier is known for. A rich medley of dark fruit and raspberry define the nose and palate. It is robust, well structured and well integrated at this point with very fine tannins. The finish is long and lingering. A very satisfying pour indeed. Serve with a robust stew. Tasted Nov 15, 2019. thewineloverskitchen.com
Andrew Bernardo rated this wine as 94/100 with the following review:

An amazingly complex and brooding wine featuring oodles of black briar, baking spice, herbs, graphite and camphor. There’s a hint of tea smoke on the finish. 94 Points.

Natalie's Review

Xavier Vignon Arcane XV Le Diable 2015, Rhône, France: Xavier Arcane XV Le Diable 2015 is a Mourvèdre-driven red wine with grapes sourced from a parcel close to Vinsobres. The grapes for this vintage were macerated for three weeks and the wine was aged is small oak barrels and concrete tanks. This full-bodied red is rich with dark berry, blueberry, fine herbs, pepper and anise spice flavours vibrant on the palate. Lots of beautiful fruit on this wine with plenty of structure. Drink, hold or cellar from up to 10-plus years. Drink: 2017-2031. 526301 14.50% XD 750 mL  $29.95 Score: 91/100. November 4, 2023 Top Rated Red Wine. Magnificent Meat Pizza Wine  Full Review

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
