Rachelle O'Connor rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Great complexity and luscious layers adorn this blend of Grenache, Syrah and Mourvedre. Traditional fermentation is used for the Grenache and Syrah while he uses whole bunch fermentation for development of power and roundness from the Mourvedre grapes. This wine is full bodied and smooth with flavors of prune, currant, cherry, blackberry, black, white pepper, lots of dried herbs and wet earth. Enjoy with grilled meats or strong cheese. Excellent value. Tasted November 2017.
Jon Steeves rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Well balanced, slightly tart, ripe plum, blackberry, graphite minerality, peppercorn and savoury. Medium body, acidity, tannins. Pairs well with beef fajitas or charcuterie. Tasted 2014 vintage decanted 2h in Nov 2017. 91 points. Great value.

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a feisty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
