Andrew Bernardo rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

This wine is always a winner. A nice core of black cherry, plum and blueberry are surrounded by crushed rock, spice, and dried herb. 92 Points
Rachelle O'Connor rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Cassis drenched sour black cherry on the nose and palate. Other flavors peek through on the well balanced palate including blackberry, blueberry, licorice and white pepper. Lovely, lingering spicy finish.
Melanie Lloyd rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

This is a smoky wine with aromas of plum, black current, fresh tobacco, vanilla and underwood. It is structured, and has dark berry and sweet tobacco flavours, and a long finish on the palate. Tasted October 2017

Natalie's Review

Château D'anglès Classique La Clape Mourvèdre Syrah Grenache 2015, Midi A.P., France: Smoky earth and toasty oak on the nose of this wine with black cherry on the palate of this full-bodied French red wine. Deep concentration and ripeness here. Very smooth on the palate: great right out of the gate. That sourness is on the finish, but again in a pleasant way like cooked black fruit with dark spices. Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
