Stephen Andrews reviewed this wine as follows:

Tasted July 7th 2017. With good friends at a home dinner, of grilled tenderloin in a red wine baby portobello mushroom sauce, fingerling potatoes and roasted asparagus.
Colour deep ruby, thick slow legs on the glass. Aromas, black plum, black currant, black cherry, smoke cedar and mint. Taste intense dark fruit, full bodied, grippy tannin, medium acidity and hot alcohol. If you like full bodied Cabernet Sauvignon this wine is for you. It reminds me of "Crocodile Dundee" fighting a full grown crocodile with only his knife.
Jane Staples rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Fragrant with cassis, pretty violet & mint aromas. Delicious rich palate repeats, adding redcurrant and black plum with touches of oak- a bit tannic. Pair with prime rib.

Natalie's Review

Pirramimma Cabernet Sauvignon 2013, Mclaren Vale, South Australia, Australia: So savoury and delicious: Cabernet Sauvignon is rarely this expressive. Yes please! This wine almost jumps out of the glass in its vibrancy and intensity. It's incredibly flavourful for Australian cabernet which is usually far more austere than shiraz. Pair this full-bodied red wine with pepperoni pizza. Highly recommended. Drink: 2017-2020. 730374 14.60% XD 750 mL  $24.95 Score: 92/100. April 28, 2017 Top Rated Red Wine. Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
