Lori Kilmartin rated this wine as 86/100 with the following review:

There is a bit more fresh fruit on this than your typical Ripasso. Plenty of cherry with bright acidity and evident tannins. A good match with Osso bucco as there is enough body and flavours to match!
Pamela Chiles rated this wine as 86/100 with the following review:

Quite fruity - a bit of a cherry-toasted-oak concoction. Soft mouthfeel with a slightly bitter but not unappealing back taste and a savoury cherry finish. Tomato-based dishes or pizza please!
Lynn Van Der Linde rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Heady aromas of fig, baked strawberry-rubard pie, and a hint of mint, carry through to a jammy flavour, and some lingering acidity, making this a very food friendly pick - great with assorted cheeses, antipasto, or pizza.
Tasted March 2017.

Natalie's Review

Pasqua Romeo And Juliet Valpolicello Ripasso Superiore 2014, Veneto DOC, Italy: Sweet and sour cherry flavours, full-bodied and fairly supple. Some tannic grip at the back on the finish. Pair with a rare steak. Drink: 2014-2017. 476903 13.50% D 750 mL  $18.95 Score: 87/100. March 3, 2017 Best Value Red Wine.  Full Review

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
