Decant for half an hour before enjoying. Lots of ripe and dark fruit and berry aromas (blueberry, currant), along with a bit of spice. Full bodied, medium tannin balanced with fruit forward flavours. Overall very pleasant and would be a great complement to steak.

Dark ruby and a pink rim. A nose full of blueberry, currants and a touch of eucalyptus. Rich fruit flavours primarily of blackberry, black currant and some spicy notes. Well balanced acid and tannins give the wine a terrific mouthfeel and full body. A very pleasant long finish full of fruit. Drinking very well now.
Try this with some mild sausage and a mushroom risotto.
Jon Steeves rated this wine as
89/100 with the following review:
This Barossa valley Cabernet Sauvignon is a stand out winner and offers exceptional value. Inky, dark ruby, 14.5% ABV. This wine is well-balanced, integrating nicely, great tannic structure, prominent blue fruit aromatics of blackberry, blueberry, black currant, anise and a hint of baking spice. Matured in 1/2 French and 1/2 American oak for 12 months prior to bottling. Ready to enjoy now and with 5 years, tannins will be well integrated and softened to perfection. Pair with BBQ beef, braised red meats, rack of lamb. @jonsteeves rated 89/100 - tasted May 2016
Pamela Chiles rated this wine as
89/100 with the following review:
Found the nose a bit closed, but with a little encouragement dried black fruit (think currants, blackberries) emerged along with tobacco, leather, a bit of spice; all that replayed on the palate and held on for a long finish. Some serious tannins envelop the package so drink now with a nice steak or hold for a few years. Good value.

A New World wine that needs hearty food…
Presentation: Nice, distinctive, clean.
Appearance: Medium-dark ruby
Nose: Plums and blackcurrant, with a little spice and meat, as well as violets
Taste: Floral (e.g., violets), eucalyptus and berries
Finish: Tannins, earthy, leather, long
Overall impression: This wine can apparently be cellared for over 10 years, but can be opened much sooner to enjoy. Still, it needs old/strong cheese or hearty food as a pairing.
Value: 3/5
Monique Sosa rated this wine as
90/100 with the following review:
Here we have a bold inky ruby red wine pouring with developing notes of raspberry, blackberry, black currants, violets and anise. The palate is satiny-smooth with ripe integrated tannins, balanced acidity, well-integrated alcohol and a long chocolate mint finish. Enjoy with grilled lamb chops or steak. Tasted May 2016.

Peter Lehmann Wines Portrait Cabernet Sauvignon 2013, Barossa Valley, South Australia, Australia: A distinguished, balanced and well-structured Barossa Cabernet with classic aromas of cassis and blackberry. This wine elongates the mouth-feel and finish. The wine was aged in 10$ America oak and second-fill French oak. Perfect for BBQ meats. Drink: 2015-2021. 605741 14.50% XD 750 mL $19.95 Score: 91/100.
