Jennifer Havers rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Rich aromas of currant, raisin, leather and pepper. Nice balance of fruit, spice, and oak on the palate. Tannins are grippy, this would be fantastic with a BBQ’ed steak.
Tasted Feb 2015
Monique Sosa rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Deep ruby red wine with strong notes of cassis, blackberries, black plums, leather, dark chocolate and wet stone. Young medium-high tannins linger on to the finish along with subtle fresh black fruit notes. Still, a pleasant balance of ripe fruit, acidity and tannins. Honestly a lovely wine and great bang for your buck. If you are impatient and feel like drinking now, decant this bottle and enjoy with prime rib roast. I personally am tempted to pair with a big juicy bison burger.
Matt Steeves rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Blackberry, roasted peppers, tar on the nose. Very refreshing, with tart berries, rhubarb, plum, and dark chocolate on the palate. Enjoy with beef and mushroom risotto. Tasted February 2015. 88 points. Matt Steeves - www.quercusvino.ca
Jane Staples rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

A delicious nose of blueberries and milk chocolate. A very smooth palate repeats these with vanilla and cinnamon. very harmonious, with a long blueberry finish.
Douglas McMillan rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Currants, new leather, chocolate, and some earthiness give this a rich, but subtle aroma. There dry, tart, tannic fruit, showing a lot of spiciness gives this an interesting taste and mouth-feel. A great wine for rich stews providing they don't overwelm the subtlety of this wine.
Valérie Dufour rated this wine as 85/100 with the following review:

The nose is full of black current and green pepper. Tannins are melted. Retro of pepper. Would be good with bbq steak with green pepper sauce.
