Konzelmann's Lakefront Series Pinot Blanc shows ripe orchard fruits, tropical and citrus fruits, wild flower honey, flinty minerality, and sweet floral blossoms on the nose. Easy going, round, and simply delightful, the palate shows ripe stone fruit and orchard fruit along with sweet baking spices leading the way for the dose of refreshing minerality and Asian Pear that persist on the off-dry palate cleansing finish. A great wine to enjoy served ice-cold on a patio (or at a picnic) with friends and also lovely when enjoyed with moderately spicy Asian cuisine, tangy BBQ chicken or shrimp, or grilled fish with a citrus vinaigrette. At under $13 this wine offers great value. Tasted January 2017. 88 points. Matt Steeves - www.mattswinepicks.com

Light, mild, but still with some lovely flavours. Lots of Granny Smith apple, lemon, lime and peach are accompanied by a floral and spice undertone. Would pair well with white fish or creamy mozzerella cheeses.

A cool little wine at an extremely great value. Lovely stone fruit, citrus zest and a touch of baking spices (nutmeg, clove) on the nose; and fresh peach, mineral and white pepper on the palate. Light bodied, medium acidity and short peppery finish. Pairs quite well with Neopolitan style Margherita pizza.

A fresh nose with peach and minerality, followed by a palate showing peach, lime and minerality. Light, refreshing and a great value.

Very pretty wine, and a great price! Pretty aromas of apple, lemon, lime, minerality and a touch of nutmeg. Very crisp and mouthwatering but with a softness, almost creaminess. Was lovely with fresh Canadian Bella Casara mozzarella cheeses (Buffalo and Fior di Latte) because it was not too overpowering for the cheese, and the texture of the wine matched the texture of the cheese. Would also be nice with white fish or creamy pastas.

Pretty floral nose, ripe pear, green apple & lime zest on the palate, crisp acidity, touch of ginger on the finish. Great with summer salads and grilled fish.

Pale gold, citrus, melon, peach with tropical notes on the nose. Creamy texture, apple, citrus lemon acidity, med finish, lacking some depth, but well made and solid for the price point at $12. Pan fried bass or pickerel with a squeeze of lemon would be a nice match at the cottage. Tasted June 6, 2015
