Reviews and Ratings

Tania Thomas - CSW, WSET ADV rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Easily quaffable, beautifully aromatic Torrontés vinified with handpicked grapes sourced from the Cafayate vineyards in Salta province. Extra dry, fresh and lively with crisp acidity and aromas and flavours of delicate jasmin blossom, fleshy orange and lime zest. Closes in a lingering polished finish. Perfect pairing with mature goat cheeses and for the most traditional pairing, with hot meat empanadas and Argentinian “asado” (grill). Score: 91/100. Tasted April 2017. Andrea Shapiro rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

100% Torrontes. Pale lemon coloured in the glass with medium tears. Very aromatic! This fragrant bouquet showcases lemon citrus, ripe pear, peach, sweet pea alongside orange blossom floral elements with clover, coconut and a touch of honey. Flavours follow suit with white grapefruit, apricot, green apple and a hint of minerality. A rich and fruit forward, bone dry body with a scrumptious oily mouthfeel. A nice pair for stuffed peppers, coconut curry, asparagus and hollandaise. 90 points - April 2017
Zuccardi Series A (2015) is a Torrontes from the Salta region in Argentina. The Torrontes white wine grape makes wines that are crisp, very aromatic and very easy to drink. It's kind of like the Gewurztraminer of Argentina. Some of the best versions of this wine come from the high altitude vineyards in northern Salta. This one is lovely and ready to drink now. - Community Wine Reviews
