An invitation of apricot and peach blossom on the nose. This organic wine follows through on that promise with fragrant lime blossom and baking spices on the palate. Full-bodied yet not heavy. A long, lingering finish.

Viognier food pairings: mushroom risotto with truffle oil, Moroccan lamb tagine, roast pork stuffed with prunes and dried apricots, roast chicken.

Reviews and Ratings

Astrid Young - Sommelier ISG CAPS rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Yalumba never disappoints ... and this vibrant aromatic white is no exception. That it's organic: just a bonus! and it's Australia's oldest family-run winery? another bonus! Jasmine aromas almost leap out of the glass, white flowers and honeysuckle; a slice of fresh white peach on the creamy midpalate are among the layers of stonefruit, finishing with bright, sweet citrus, exotic spices and juicy apricot. So delicious and refreshing, it dares you to have another glass ... could be my favorite summer wine so far! enjoy with all sorts of charcuterie and cheeses, but especially with some nice Stilton, or even Chevre Noir. For dinner, a rotisserie'd pork roast glazed in a reduction of County Cider Co.'s Peach Cider (only available directly through the Cider Company) might just do the trick!
One of Australia's best producers of Viognier, this organic wine doesn't disappoint. Floral, fragrant with good weight for Asian dishes. - Community Wine Reviews
